South Carolina, specifically the LowCountry, is booming.
State,
local and regional leaders got a first hand look at Moreland Village,
the latest residential area in Palmetto Bluff. Even South
Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley came to town to take a look at the first phase
of the project.
She said the state's economy is booming, and a positive thing for the state.
“We
believe in quality and opportunity of life first,” Haley said. “If you
look at Palmetto Bluff, look at all they are doing to conserve and to
keep things as natural as they are. They are not cutting down all the
trees or cutting down big spaces for houses, they are doing it and
keeping in mind all the habitat that comes with
it.”
